Overview

What is Merit?

Merit is a remote MCP server that gives your AI assistant Ukrainian legislation, case law and state registers. The assistant finds the primary source itself and answers with the source and its date.

  • 50+ official sources, 120+ tools, named source__action
  • Read only: no tool changes or sends anything
  • It does not see your chat: the assistant sends only the request to a source (a case number, an article, a company code)
  • OAuth sign-in with your Merit account: no API keys to copy
  • The tool list below shows the main tools. The assistant finds the other tools in the server's catalogue (catalog__search) and calls them the same way.

What you can ask

  • Which version of Article 625 of the Civil Code was in force on 15 March 2022, and what has changed in it since?
  • Find Supreme Court positions on 3% per annum and inflation losses under martial law.
  • Check a counterparty by its EDRPOU code: status, director, enforcement proceedings, sanctions.
  • Calculate the inflation losses on a debt of 120,000 UAH from February 2024 to September 2026.
  • When is the next hearing in my case, and has its jurisdiction changed?
  • Is the certificate of the other side's advocate valid, and which bureau do they work at?

Honest answers

  • as_of is the publication date of the source itself, not the date of our sync.
  • available: false with a reason: an unavailable source is an answer, not an empty list.
  • An empty result never means that the person or the proceeding does not exist.
  • A shortened field always carries a flag or a character count.
  • A "no" from one sanctions list says nothing about the other four.
