Vibe Ads is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets you ask natural‑language questions about your Google Ads campaigns from Claude Desktop, Cursor, or any MCP client. It is pre‑tuned for local service businesses (plumbers, HVAC, electricians, roofers, and 33 more categories) and rolls up 35+ diagnostic rules into a single 0–100 account health score across six dimensions.

How to use Vibe Ads?

1. Sign in to your VibeAds account and generate a read‑only API key (starts with vba_mcp_).
2. Configure your MCP client by adding the server definition with npx -y @vibeads/mcp and the environment variable VIBEADS_API_KEY.
3. Once configured, ask Claude questions like “what’s my account health score?” or “which search terms are wasting my budget?”.

How do I get an API key?

Sign in to your VibeAds account at https://getvibeads.com/app/settings/mcp and generate a read‑only API key. Keys start with vba_mcp_ and are scoped to your account.

Why am I seeing “No diagnostic data yet”?

Diagnostics are generated every 6 hours by the VibeAds agent. If you just published a campaign, wait 6–12 hours for the first run.

Why is no search term data found?

Search term sync runs every 6 hours. For new campaigns, allow 24–48 hours for meaningful data to accumulate.

What are the runtime requirements?

Node.js ≥ 20, an active VibeAds account (free tier works), and at least one published campaign for diagnostics.

Are my campaigns safe? Can this server modify them?

Yes, safe. All tools are read‑only – they cannot create, modify, pause, or delete anything in your Google Ads account. API keys are revocable and have optional expiry.
