Overview
What is FeedNest?
FeedNest is an MCP server that gives AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini direct access to your curated RSS feeds, articles, highlights, notes, and tags. It is designed for users who want AI insights grounded in their own chosen sources rather than the entire web.
How to use FeedNest?
You need a FeedNest Pro account and an API key from your dashboard. Then configure your AI client to connect to the remote MCP server at https://mcp.feednest.com using either OAuth 2.1 (automatically handled by ChatGPT and Claude.ai) or an API key in the Authorization header. Detailed setup instructions are provided for ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, Cline, Le Chat, Gemini CLI, and Grok API.

FAQ from FeedNest
What do I need to get started?
You need a FeedNest account with a Pro subscription and an API key (generated from Settings → Developer API in your dashboard). Keys start with fn_live_ followed by 32 hex characters.
How do I authenticate?
You can use an API key passed as a Bearer token (Authorization: Bearer fn_live_YOUR_API_KEY) or OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. ChatGPT and Claude.ai handle OAuth automatically – no API key needed for those clients.
Which AI clients are supported?
ChatGPT, Claude (web, Code, Desktop with a bridge), Gemini CLI, Grok (via xAI API), Cursor, Windsurf, Cline, Le Chat (Mistral), and any client supporting Streamable HTTP.
Does FeedNest work with Claude Desktop?
Yes, but Claude Desktop only supports stdio‑based servers. You must use the mcp-remote bridge to connect to the remote FeedNest server.
Can I use FeedNest without a Pro subscription?
No. A FeedNest Pro subscription is listed as a prerequisite.
