Overview

Mess in. Magic out.

Pour in your notes and documents, however messy, and LoreKeeper organises them into a safe, private store for your world: session recaps, setting notes, and the characters who live there, with their portraits. Then open Claude, ChatGPT or whichever AI app you already love. Ask about your world, or have it build you a sourcebook, all from what you wrote, with the document each answer came from.

Your players remember the promise you made the mayor three sessions ago. Now your AI assistant can too. It never changes a word of your lore.

Ask your own campaign

  • "Using my LoreKeeper world, build me a sourcebook for the city of Varnholt: its history, factions, key NPCs and three adventure hooks, all from my notes."
  • "Using LoreKeeper, what did the party promise the mayor of Varnholt, and which session recap says so?"
  • "From my LoreKeeper world, give me a previously-on, the open threads and the NPCs likely to come back next session."
  • "Pull Captain Vela from LoreKeeper, show me her portrait, and draft three lines she would say about the missing ship."
  • "Check this twist against my LoreKeeper lore and point out anything it contradicts."
  • "Search my LoreKeeper Lore Library for everything about the Ember Guild and sum it up."

What your assistant can see

  • Your worlds: every campaign in your account, kept apart, so Thursday's game never bleeds into Sunday's.
  • Your Lore Library: session recaps, campaign notes and setting documents, searched in seconds and read in full.
  • Your characters: player characters and NPCs, with look, personality, voice, backstory and sheet.
  • Their portraits: the pictures you already saved, so the assistant sees who they are.
  • New pictures, if you want them: character and world art made from your lore, paid with LoreKeeper credits. This stays off unless you allow it.

Connect in a minute

  • Claude (web, desktop, phone): Add LoreKeeper to Claude. Sign in, then press Allow.
  • ChatGPT: Plugins → Add → Add custom MCP server, then paste https://api.lorekeeper.com/mcp.
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http --scope user lorekeeper https://api.lorekeeper.com/mcp, then claude mcp login lorekeeper.
  • Cursor and other MCP apps: use the config above.

It works on every LoreKeeper plan. You sign in with OAuth, so there are no keys to paste.

Tools

ToolWhat it does
list_worldsYour worlds and their ids
search_loreFinds the passages that answer a question, naming the source
list_lore / read_loreLists a world's documents and reads any of them in full
find_characters / get_characterFinds a character and gives their look, personality, voice and sheet
get_character_imagesThe portraits and reference sheets you saved
check_creditsYour credit balance
make_character_picture / make_world_pictureNew art from your lore, only if you allowed spending credits

Private by design

  • A connection reads only the worlds in the account that signed in.
  • Your lore is read-only: the assistant can't edit or delete your documents or characters. The only thing it can ever add is a new picture, and only if you allowed spending.
  • Revoke any connection at once under Account → Connections.
  • LoreKeeper never uses your lore for AI training.
