Overview

What is LastPing?

LastPing monitors the things that run without you: AI agent runs, cron jobs, scheduled CI workflows and HTTP endpoints. When an expected signal never arrives, a run fails, or an agent stalls or is blocked waiting for a human, LastPing opens an incident and alerts you by email, Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, Telegram, ntfy, Pushover or webhook.

What your agent can do with it

  • Create monitors from a plain description ("my backup runs nightly at 2am UTC") and get the exact ping line for cron, GitHub Actions or an agent.
  • Tell you what is broken right now: open incidents, the last step a run reached, its exit code, how its duration compares with normal, and how often the same failure happened before.
  • Read run history and traces, including per-run steps, durations, model token usage and estimated cost for instrumented agents.
  • Manage alert destinations and routing, status pages, maintenance snoozes and API keys.
  • Write notes on incidents, so the person reading the alert sees what the agent found.

50 tools, each annotated read-only or write.
