About Kaiva Bridge MCP Server

Kaiva Bridge turns your API, database or documents into a managed MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and VS Code. Point it at an OpenAPI or Swagger spec, an API docs link, a cURL command, a Postman collection, a GraphQL endpoint, Postgres, MySQL, MariaDB or SQL Server, spreadsheets, PDFs and other documents, or an MCP server you already run. Bridge reads the source and proposes tools, and you choose which ones your AI client sees. No code to write and nothing to run. Connect this server and your agent does the setup for you: it lists your servers, shows one, drafts a new server from an OpenAPI spec, and refreshes a server's tools when its API changes. Free plan: 10 servers and 200,000 tool calls a month, no credit card.

Overview

What is Kaiva Bridge?

Kaiva Bridge turns what you already have into a managed MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and VS Code. Point it at an OpenAPI or Swagger spec, an API docs link, a cURL command, a Postman collection, a GraphQL endpoint, a Postgres, MySQL, MariaDB or SQL Server database (read-only), spreadsheets, PDFs and other documents, or an MCP server you already run. It reads the source and proposes tools, and you choose which ones your AI client sees. There is no server code to write and nothing to deploy.

Tools

The tool table on this page is empty because this endpoint requires OAuth, and a directory crawler cannot sign in. Connect the server in your client and it lists these four:

  • list_my_servers lists every MCP server in your workspace and its state.
  • get_server returns one server in detail, including its address and tools.
  • create_server drafts a new MCP server from an OpenAPI spec URL.
  • reintrospect_server refreshes a server's tools when its API changes.

So an agent can go from "here is an OpenAPI spec" to a draft server in one step. Publishing it and choosing which tools are switched on happen in the console.

Authentication

OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration. Your client registers itself and sends you through sign in, so there is no key to paste and nothing to rotate by hand.

Transport

Streamable HTTP, POST only. This server does not offer a server-initiated SSE stream over GET, so a GET returns 405 with Allow: POST. That is what the Streamable HTTP spec prescribes when a server does not implement the optional GET stream, and every current MCP client handles it automatically.

How it works

  1. Give Kaiva Bridge a source: an API spec or docs link, a cURL command or Postman collection, a GraphQL endpoint, a database, files, or an existing MCP server.
  2. Bridge reads it and proposes tools.
  3. You choose which tools your AI client sees and publish the server.
  4. You get one MCP URL that works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and VS Code. When the source changes, refresh it and the tools follow.

Pricing

Free plan: 10 servers and 200,000 tool calls a month, no credit card. Pro is $19 a month for unlimited servers and 1,000,000 tool calls. See the plans at kaiv.ai/bridge/pricing.

Frequently asked questions

1

What is the Kaiva Bridge remote MCP server?

The Kaiva Bridge remote MCP server is a hosted Model Context Protocol endpoint at https://api.kaiv.ai/api/bridge/manage/mcp, so AI assistants can connect to it without installing or running anything locally.

2

How do I connect to the Kaiva Bridge MCP server?

Add the endpoint https://api.kaiv.ai/api/bridge/manage/mcp to any MCP-compatible client such as Claude Code, Cursor, or VS Code. The setup snippets on this page configure each client in one step.

3

Does the Kaiva Bridge MCP server require authentication?

Yes. Kaiva Bridge uses OAuth: the first time you connect, your MCP client opens a browser window to sign in and authorize access, then reuses the credentials for future sessions.

4

Which transport does the Kaiva Bridge MCP server use?

Kaiva Bridge exposes a Streamable HTTP endpoint, the transport used by remote MCP servers and supported by all major MCP clients.
