Install the package globally via npm install -g @kajirita2002/honeycomb-mcp-server or run directly with npx @kajirita2002/honeycomb-mcp-server. Set the HONEYCOMB_API_KEY environment variable to your Honeycomb API key. Then configure your MCP client (e.g., in mcp_config.json) with the command npx, arguments ["-y", "@kajirita2002/honeycomb-mcp-server"], and the environment variable.
