What are the system requirements?

Windows 10+, the latest two versions of macOS, and major Linux distros (Ubuntu, Fedora). The Tauri overlay is designed to be lightweight with minimal CPU/RAM overhead.

How does authentication and payment work?

Authentication is handled via Clerk, and payments for game data packs ($5.99 each) or premium add-ons ($2.49–$3.99) are processed securely through Stripe. A 7-day trial is available for $0.99.

Where is my data stored?

User progress, settings, bookmarks, and purchase data are stored in a PostgreSQL database. Game-specific data (quests, items, NPCs) is also kept in separate database schemas.

Is the overlay secure?

All backend communication uses HTTPS, Clerk manages auth tokens, and Stripe handles PCI-compliant payments. Only essential user progress and settings are stored to minimize exposure.
