FERS: structural finite-element analysis for AI agents
A finite-element solver your agent can call: beams, 2D and 3D frames, trusses and plates, with deflections, internal forces, reactions, natural frequencies, linear buckling (alpha_cr), seismic response and EN 1993-1-1 (Eurocode 3) steel member checks with a clause-by-clause hand-calc trace. The engine is validated against closed-form solutions: the model interprets, the solver calculates.
This listing: the hosted server

- It builds and validates models.
solve_model, run_unity_checks and check_beam return a link that solves the model in your browser (public, valid for 24 hours); the hosted server runs no solver itself.

Tools (a selection)
| Tool | What it does |
|---|
check_beam | EN 1993-1-1 steel member check: bending, shear, N+M, lateral-torsional buckling |
create_beam, create_frame, build_model | Solver-ready models from a span and section, a portal frame, or a node and member list |
solve_model | Displacements, internal forces and reactions |
set_analysis | Second-order, modal, buckling or seismic analysis |
run_unity_checks | Eurocode unity checks with an HTML hand-calc report |
list_sections | Named European, UK and US steel sections |
get_schema | The model schema, so the agent does not guess field names |
Example prompt
Check an IPE 400 in S275, 7.5 m simply supported span, 12 kN/m distributed load, to EN 1993-1-1 with FERS.
