Is Ezoic Setup MCP Server official?
Yes. It is run by Ezoic and documented on docs.ezoic.com, and it is listed in the Claude connectors directory and the ChatGPT app directory.

Basic information
Ezoic Setup MCP Server is the public MCP endpoint for Ezoic's AI Setup Assistant. It answers questions from Ezoic's public integration docs and returns copyable code for ads.txt, header and consent scripts, ad placements and SDKs. It needs no Ezoic login and does not access your account or analytics.
https://setup-agent.ezoic.com/mcpclaude mcp add ezoic-setup --transport http https://setup-agent.ezoic.com/mcpAsk the agent. Full pipeline (schema, queries, analysis). Sync within deadline_seconds; else {status:pending,job_id} — poll request_status/read_response. Pass a stable thread id (UUID) on every call for conversation context. The result carries thread_id, the thread actually used; re-send that value on later calls.
Short orientation text for apples MCP callers.
Stream a chunk of a pending ask() job's output.
Check the status of a pending ask() job.
Ezoic Setup MCP Server is the public MCP endpoint for Ezoic's AI Setup Assistant, which helps publishers and developers add Ezoic ads to a site or app from inside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code or Codex, with no Ezoic login.
Ezoic is an ad and monetization platform for website publishers (its ads product is EzoicAds). Setting it up involves several pieces: an ads.txt file, header and consent scripts, ad placement snippets, and framework or platform SDKs. The AI Setup Assistant answers from Ezoic's public integration docs and returns full, copyable snippets, so a coding agent can make the changes in your project directly. You can also chat with it on the web at setup-agent.ezoic.com.
It is not the Ezoic Analytics MCP. The Setup Assistant does not read your account, change dashboard settings or return analytics.
There is nothing to install and no account or API key to configure. The endpoint is:
https://setup-agent.ezoic.com/mcp
It uses Streamable HTTP with no authentication. Ezoic's docs suggest that if your assistant can add MCP servers itself, you can paste: "Add the Ezoic Setup MCP server: https://setup-agent.ezoic.com/mcp (streamable HTTP, no auth). Then use it to help me set up Ezoic ads."
claude mcp add --transport http ezoic-setup https://setup-agent.ezoic.com/mcp
Ezoic Setup is listed in the Claude connectors directory: click + next to the message box, choose Add connector, then Browse connectors, search for Ezoic Setup and click Connect. If the directory connector is not available, open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector, name it Ezoic Setup and paste the URL. On Claude Team and Enterprise, only an Owner can add connectors under Organization settings.
Add to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (or a project's .cursor/mcp.json):
{"mcpServers": {"ezoic-setup": {"url": "https://setup-agent.ezoic.com/mcp"}}}
From the command line:
code --add-mcp '{"name":"ezoic-setup","type":"http","url":"https://setup-agent.ezoic.com/mcp"}'
Or add to .vscode/mcp.json:
{"servers": {"ezoic-setup": {"type": "http", "url": "https://setup-agent.ezoic.com/mcp"}}}
For Codex CLI, add this to ~/.codex/config.toml and restart Codex:
[mcp_servers.ezoic-setup]
url = "https://setup-agent.ezoic.com/mcp"
In ChatGPT, Ezoic Setup is an official app in the app directory; open it and click Connect.
The server exposes four tools built around a single conversational agent:
ask sends a question to the setup agent, which runs its full pipeline and returns an answer. If the answer is not ready within the requested deadline, it returns a pending status with a job ID. The tool asks callers to pass a stable thread ID (a UUID) on every call so the agent keeps conversation context.request_status checks a pending job, and read_response streams a chunk of its output.help returns short usage text for callers.https://setup-agent.ezoic.com/mcp, including /mcp, then reload MCP servers or restart the assistant.analytics-mcp.ezoic.com entry.Yes. It is run by Ezoic and documented on docs.ezoic.com, and it is listed in the Claude connectors directory and the ChatGPT app directory.
Ezoic's docs say no Ezoic login is required and the endpoint is public. Running Ezoic ads on your site is a separate matter handled in your Ezoic account.
No. It uses Streamable HTTP with no authentication.
No. It does not access your Ezoic account, change dashboard settings or return analytics. For account analytics, Ezoic offers a separate Analytics MCP that requires sign-in.
Yes. Ezoic documents setup for Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Codex, Claude and ChatGPT.

The Ezoic Setup remote MCP server is a hosted Model Context Protocol endpoint at https://setup-agent.ezoic.com/mcp, so AI assistants can connect to it without installing or running anything locally.
Add the endpoint https://setup-agent.ezoic.com/mcp to any MCP-compatible client such as Claude Code, Cursor, or VS Code. The setup snippets on this page configure each client in one step.
Authentication requirements for Ezoic Setup have not been confirmed in this listing. Check the provider’s documentation before connecting.
Ezoic Setup exposes a streamable-http endpoint, the transport used by remote MCP servers and supported by all major MCP clients.
