Why does connection fail?
Check that the mailbox address format is correct, the SMTP authorization code is accurate (case‑sensitive), and that SMTP service has been enabled in QQ Mail settings.

Log in to QQ Mail web, navigate to Settings → Account → POP3/IMAP/SMTP service, enable the service, and follow the prompts to get a 16‑character code. This is not your QQ login password.
