Overview
What is Domainkits?
Domainkits provides domain intelligence tools through MCP-compatible clients, offering APIs for newly registered domain search, nameserver reverse lookup, and domain counts by type. It is designed for domain investors, brand managers, and researchers.
How to use Domainkits?
Configure Domainkits by adding its three endpoints to your Claude Desktop, Cursor, or Gemini CLI configuration using npx mcp-remote with the HTTP-first transport. Each endpoint corresponds to a separate tool: search_nrds, search_ns_reverse, and count_domains.
Key features of Domainkits
- Newly registered domain search with keyword, TLD, and length filters
- NS reverse lookup finds domains hosted on a specific nameserver
- Domain counting by type (NRDS, expired, aged) with multiple filters
- Supports filters for alpha, numeric, hyphen, and keyword inclusion/exclusion
- Returns up to 5 sample domains per query
- 10 requests per minute per IP
Use cases of Domainkits
- Find newly registered domains containing a specific keyword for brand monitoring
- Identify all gTLD domains using a particular nameserver for infrastructure research
- Count domain registrations by type to analyze market trends
- Filter domain lists by prefix length, TLD, or character composition for targeted discovery
FAQ from Domainkits
What limitations apply to the free tier?
Rate limit is 10 requests per minute per IP, and each response returns at most 5 domains. NRDS data may have a 24–48 hour delay.
How do I get full access with more results and exports?
Visit the full-access web interfaces: for NRDS at domainkits.com/search/new and for NS Reverse at domainkits.com/tools/ns-reverse.
What privacy protections are in place?
IP addresses and search queries are anonymized, logs are retained for only 7 days, and no personal data is collected.
Which transports does the server support?
The server uses HTTP (JSON-RPC via the MCP remote protocol). Configuration examples show the http-first transport for Claude and a plain URL for Cursor.
What runtime or dependencies are required?
You need Node.js and npx to run the mcp-remote client that bridges to the remote endpoints. No local server is installed.
