Overview

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client to your Atwork workspace, and work with your real sheets, tasks, pages and dashboards from the conversation instead of pasting copies into it.

  • Endpoint: https://mcp.atwork.so/mcp (streamable HTTP)
  • Sign-in: OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration, or a personal access token
  • Cost: included on every Atwork plan, including Free
  • Setup guide: https://atwork.so/mcp

What is Atwork?

Atwork is a workspace for teams: sheets, tasks, pages and dashboards in one place, with AI agents built in.

  • Sheets hold any structured data as items with typed fields (text, number, status, select, date, member, file list, relation, formula, rollup and more). Tasksheets add assignees, due dates, subtasks and a timer.
  • Views show the same items as a Table, Board, Calendar, Gantt, Timeline, Card, Gallery, Form or Charts.
  • Pages are documents with headings, checklists, tables, images and files, and can be published.
  • Dashboards chart any sheet: line, bar, pie, number, gauge, funnel and more, with filters.
  • Automations run on a trigger (item created or changed, a schedule, an inbound email), with conditions, loops, HTTP requests, AI steps and steps for Slack, Telegram, email and other connected tools.
  • Forms create items from submissions and can be public or embedded on a website.
  • Planner and calendar: My Tasks across every sheet, a daily plan, goals, calendar sync and booking links.
  • AI: Dana, the built-in assistant, answers questions, analyses data and builds sheets and forms. You can also create your own agents and assign them work.
  • Apps and templates: a CRM, a support desk, a client portal for your customers, and ready-made spaces you install in one click.
  • Developers: a REST API with signed webhooks, and this MCP server.

What your assistant can do

Your assistant works as you, with the same access you have.

Find and read

  • Search the workspace by name or content, and list its spaces, folders and sheets
  • Read sheet rows with filters, and a sheet's fields and options
  • Total, count or average a sheet's rows, grouped by any field
  • List your tasks, read dashboards and pages
  • List members, read your calendar and propose free meeting times

Create and update

  • Create tasks and items, and update them using plain values ("Status: Done", a member'
  • Create or update up to 200 rows in one step, and undo that step as a whole
  • Archive and restore items
  • Post comments, create pages and edit them section by section
  • Upload images (PNG, JPEG or WebP, up to 10 MB) and set them on an item

Build structure

  • Create sheets, add or change fields and their options, add views
  • Add dependencies (Blocking / Blocked By) between items
  • Build a multi-sheet app with relations in one step

Example prompts

  • "What's on my plate today?"
  • "Which open deals have no owner, and what are they worth by stage?"
  • "Summarize the notes on the launch page."
  • "Add a task to follow up with the design team on Thursday."
  • "Comment on the homepage redesign item that the copy is approved."
  • "Set up a hiring tracker with candidates, interviews and a pipeline board."

Permissions and safety

  • You sign in as yourself. The assistant sees only what you can see; if a sheet is hiddfrom your assistant.
  • You see the access the assistant asks for on one consent screen, and Allow or Deny it.
  • Atwork checks every call against the permissions the connection carries.
  • Actions that reach outside your workspace, such as sending email or running a connected integration, are not offered to the assistant. It has no tool to delete sheets or spaces. Archiving items and removing fields can be undone.
  • Every change the assistant makes shows up in your workspace history.
  • Your workspace data is not used to train AI models.
  • To disconnect, remove the connector in your assistant.
