What is AskRentAI?

AskRentAI is a hosted, read-only MCP server for Rent Manager, the property management platform used across a large share of US rental housing.

It connects Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok — or your own agents — directly to live Rent Manager data, so operators can ask portfolio questions in plain English instead of pulling and stitching together reports.

The problem it solves

Rent Manager ships a capable web API. Turning it on is the easy part. Using it means knowing which endpoint holds the data, how the tables relate, how to authenticate and how to page through results — that's a developer, and most operators don't have one to spare for a reporting question.

So API access sits switched on and unused, and everyone goes back to exporting reports by hand.

Read-only by design

AskRentAI reads from Rent Manager and never writes to it. It cannot post a charge, edit a lease, or change a tenant record. Point a read-only Rent Manager API user at it and the blast radius is zero.
