Aide (UltraRepo AIDE) is an open source Visual Studio Code extension that works with private and public LLMs. It integrates the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to bring your own tools and supports both local and cloud-based AI models.

Install the extension from the Visual Studio Marketplace or search for "UltraRepo AIDE" in VS Code extensions and reload. Configure your API key, base URL, and model in the settings. You can then chat with files, use prompts, and invoke MCP tools from the sidebar.
