How do I test the server locally?
Run `npx nx dev remote-mcp-server` and open `http://localhost:8787/` in a browser. Use the MCP Inspector with SSE and the local URL to test tools.

Remote MCP Server on Cloudflare is an MCP server that runs on Cloudflare Workers with OAuth login. It enables MCP clients—such as Claude Desktop or the MCP Inspector—to connect remotely via SSE and call defined tools.
Clone the repository, install dependencies, and run locally with npx nx dev remote-mcp-server. For production, deploy to Cloudflare using npm run deploy after configuring a KV namespace. Connect clients by pointing them to your worker’s workers.dev URL with the /sse endpoint.
Run `npx nx dev remote-mcp-server` and open `http://localhost:8787/` in a browser. Use the MCP Inspector with SSE and the local URL to test tools.
Create a KV namespace with `npx wrangler kv namespace create OAUTH_KV`, add its ID to `wrangler.jsonc`, then run `npm run deploy`.
Update Claude’s config file to point to the server’s URL with `/sse` (e.g., `https://worker-name.account-name.workers.dev/sse`), using `npx mcp-remote` as the command.
It uses SSE (Server-Sent Events) as the transport protocol for MCP clients.
Try connecting directly via `npx mcp-remote http://localhost:8787/sse` or clear cached auth files with `rm -rf ~/.mcp-auth`. Restarting Claude may also help.
