How do I deploy the server?
Use the "Deploy to Workers" button or run the npm create command. This creates a worker at `remote-mcp-server-authless.<your-account>.workers.dev/sse`.

This example lets you deploy a remote MCP server on Cloudflare Workers that requires no authentication. It is designed for developers who want a lightweight, publicly accessible MCP endpoint for AI tool integration.
Deploy directly via the "Deploy to Workers" button or run npm create cloudflare@latest -- my-mcp-server --template=cloudflare/ai/demos/remote-mcp-authless from the command line. Customize tools by editing the init() method in src/index.ts. Connect clients by pointing them to the SSE URL, e.g., remote-mcp-server-authless.<your-account>.workers.dev/sse.
Use the "Deploy to Workers" button or run the npm create command. This creates a worker at `remote-mcp-server-authless.<your-account>.workers.dev/sse`.
Define each tool inside the `init()` method of `src/index.ts` using `this.server.tool(...)`. See the Cloudflare MCP tools documentation for details.
Go to https://playground.ai.cloudflare.com/, enter your deployed SSE URL, and use the tools in the playground.
Install the `mcp-remote` npm package, then add a configuration entry in Claude Desktop pointing `npx mcp-remote` to your server’s SSE URL. Restart Claude to see the tools.
