This example deploys a remote MCP (Model Context Protocol) server on Cloudflare Workers without requiring authentication. It is intended for developers who want a quick, public MCP server that can be used with remote MCP clients like Cloudflare AI Playground or local clients via a proxy.
Deploy by clicking the "Deploy to Workers" button or running npm create cloudflare@latest -- my-mcp-server --template=cloudflare/ai/demos/remote-mcp-authless. Customize tools by editing the init() method in src/index.ts using this.server.tool(...). Connect via the Cloudflare AI Playground by entering the deployed SSE URL, or via Claude Desktop using the mcp-remote proxy and a JSON configuration.
mcp-remote proxy.mcp-remote instance. You need Node.js and npm (or a Cloudflare account for the one-click deploy). The template includes Cloudflare Workers dependencies.
Define each tool inside the `init()` method of `src/index.ts` using `this.server.tool(...)`. See the Cloudflare MCP tools documentation for details.
Use the `mcp-remote` npm package. Add an entry to Claude Desktop's MCP configuration with the command `npx mcp-remote <your SSE URL>`.
The MCP server runs on Cloudflare Workers (edge network). No data persistence is described in the README; tools handle their own state.
It uses SSE transport and explicitly does **not** require authentication. The server is publicly accessible via its Workers URL.

Form backend for static sites. Create form endpoints, get paste-ready markup for HTML, React, Vue, Svelte and Astro, and read submission stats — straight from your agent. Submissions are spam-filtered, stored, and routed
MCP server that lets Claude Code, Cursor or Codex ask you for API keys on a local page and write them to .env. The agent only ever sees key names.
