mcp-server-agenda is a server implementation for interacting with the Agenda app on macOS through Claude AI. It provides tools to create notes, manage projects, and open existing notes in Agenda using x-callback-urls.
Clone the repository, install dependencies with uv, and configure Claude Desktop by adding the command and args to claude_desktop_config.json. Once set up, Claude can invoke actions such as create-note, open-note, and create-project.
macOS, Python 3.7+, the Agenda app installed, and the `uv` Python package installer.
Add the following JSON to `$HOME/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json`: `{"mcp-server-agenda": {"command": "uv", "args": ["--directory", "/path/to/your/repo", "run", "mcp-server-agenda"]}}`. Replace `/path/to/your/repo` with your actual home directory path.
It supports `create-note`, `open-note`, and `create-project` via Agenda’s x-callback-url scheme.
Clone the repository, create a `pyproject.toml` file with required dependencies, then run `uv pip install -e .` from the project root.
