This repository provides a basic MCP (Model Context Protocol) server and agent setup. It runs an MCP server using fastmcp and an MCP agent using gradio and smolagents, all managed with the uv package manager. It is intended for developers who want a minimal starting point for MCP-based tool interaction.
Install dependencies with uv sync. Start the MCP server by running fastmcp run server.py. Start the interactive MCP agent by running uv run client.py.
