Install via npm install lightdash-mcp-server or using Smithery (npx -y @smithery/cli install lightdash-mcp-server --client claude). Set the LIGHTDASH_API_KEY and LIGHTDASH_API_URL environment variables. Start the server with npx lightdash-mcp-server for Stdio transport or npx lightdash-mcp-server -port 8080 for HTTP transport.
