Overview
What is Inkra MCP Server?
A Model Context Protocol bridge that lets Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients drive the native macOS Markdown editor Inkra. It exposes 18 tools for document editing, navigation, and view control, operating on the currently open document in the Inkra app.
How to use Inkra MCP Server?
Install the Inkra app (macOS 14+) and obtain an API token from Inkra Settings. Build from source or download a pre-built binary, then configure your MCP client (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor) with the binary path and two environment variables: INKRA_PORT (default
