Is this server read-only or can I write/update/delete data?
The README explicitly states this project builds a read-only MCP server. Write, update, delete, and action capabilities are available in the separate CData MCP Server beta.

Basic information
This project builds a read-only MCP server. For full read, write, update, delete, and action capabilities and a simplified setup, check out our free [CData MCP Server for Google AdWords (beta)](https://www.cdata.com/download/download.aspx?sku=DZZK-V&type=beta).

This listing does not currently have a tool list to display. This does not mean the server has no tools; check its documentation for supported capabilities.
We auto-extract tools from the README. The maintainer can list them under a ## Tools heading to populate this section.
This is a read-only MCP server that allows LLMs like Claude Desktop to query live Google AdWords data using natural language. It wraps the CData JDBC Driver for Google AdWords, which exposes Google AdWords as relational SQL models.
Clone the repository, build with Maven (mvn clean install), install and license the CData JDBC Driver for Google AdWords, configure the connection string using the driver’s utility, create a .prp file with the JDBC URL and other properties, then add the server to your Claude Desktop config (claude_desktop_config.json). The server communicates over stdio and must run on the same machine as the client.

You need Java, Maven (to build the JAR), and the CData JDBC Driver for Google AdWords installed and licensed. The driver must be on the local machine.
Authentication uses OAuth, handled by the CData JDBC Driver. During connection string setup, you authenticate in your browser. The connection string includes `InitiateOAuth=GETANDREFRESH`.
No. The server uses `stdio` transport, so it can only be used with clients running on the same machine as the server.
The server communicates over `stdio` (standard input/output). It does not support network-based transports like HTTP or WebSockets.
