Epicor Kinetic MCP Server by CData is a read-only MCP server that allows large language models (like Claude Desktop) to query live data from Epicor Kinetic using natural language. It wraps the CData JDBC Driver for Epicor Kinetic, exposing the data as relational SQL models.
Clone the repository, build the JAR with Maven, install and license the CData JDBC Driver for Epicor Kinetic, create a .prp file with your connection details, then configure the MCP server in your client (e.g., Claude Desktop) using the java -jar command with the JAR and .prp file. The server uses stdio transport and must run on the same machine as the client.

Java, Maven, and the CData JDBC Driver for Epicor Kinetic, which must be downloaded and licensed separately.
The server uses stdio transport, so it must run on the same machine as the client (e.g., Claude Desktop).
Three tools: `get_tables`, `get_columns`, and `run_query` (only SQL SELECT queries are supported). Tool names are prefixed with the server name defined in the `.prp` file.
