概要

What is Azure MCP Server?

An MCP server that provides programmatic access to Azure Cloud resources by executing Azure CLI commands. It integrates with Claude Desktop and other MCP clients to enable natural‑language management of Azure services.

Install dependencies with uv, run create_service_principal.py to generate a .env file with Azure credentials, then start the server using uv run --with mcp[cli] mcp run server-azure.py. For Claude Desktop, add the server JSON to the configuration file and ensure the environment variables are set.
